Cathie has more than 30 years of leadership and consulting experience. Her first career was as a Physical Therapist working in a number of acute care and community settings.
She has a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Calgary examining the influence of context on collaboration in health systems. Cathie also completed a postdoctoral fellowship through the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation focused on knowledge mobilization, social networks, and communities of practice.
She completed training as a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) through Royal Roads University. Cathie holds Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification through the International Coaching Federation.
Through her leadership and coaching, Cathie has worked with dozens of teams to: support evidence-informed decision-making; evaluate provincial programs; conduct provincial, national, and international community-engaged research; successfully obtain grants, and leverage knowledge for improvement. Throughout this time, she has maintained a commitment to supporting people in achieving their personal and professional potential.
